Pregnancy & Postnatal Strength Classes - 6 Week Courses

Breathing Space Studio, Cork Street, Dublin 8 

- starting Wednesday 17th Jan at 10:30am

This is a mixed level class that is open to anyone who is pregnant or postpartum (post-8 weeks). With a mix of mobility, bodyweight, banded and kettlebell exercises it is a great way to move your body and feel strong. Babies welcome.

- starting Friday 26th Jan at 1:30pm

This is a mixed level class that is open to anyone who is pregnant or postpartum (post-8 weeks). With a mix of mobility, bodyweight, and banded exercises this is a gentle class that will get you focusing on moving for motherhood.

Mum & Baby Strength & Mobility                                                          

Reformation Studio, Dartmouth Place, Ranelagh

- starting Thursday 18th Jan, 10:45am

This is a mixed level class that is open to anyone postpartum (post-8 weeks). With a mix of mobility, bodyweight, and banded exercises this is a gentle class that will get you focusing on moving for motherhood. Babies welcome.

This 6 Week programme that is a mix of 1 online postnatal strength class, 1-2 at home workout and 1-2 mobility clases. Use as much or as little as you like to help you get strong and feeling good from the comfort of you home.

Staying Active During Pregnancy:

Exercise and movement has been shown to have a number of benefits for mum & baby*. 

Supports bone mineral density, balance and coordination as well as strength

Improves sleep, posture, mental wellbeing, and energy levels

Help reduce labour time, c-sections, risk of gestational diabetes, preeclampsia and high blood pressure

*Once you are signed off by your doctor and have no contraindications

Building Your Strength Postnatally:

 

My Postnatal classes and self-paced courses are designed to help you build up your strength at a pace that is right for you.

My classes cover:

  • Rebuilding Pelvic Floor connection, Strength and Relaxation
  • Building Core Strength and Mind-Muscle Connection
  • Focusing on Upper Back and Shoulder Strength for lifting, feeding, carrying and bending
  • Lower Body Strength and Stability to help support your lifting, lunging, walking and getting back to running
  • Slowly introducing impact at a level that works best for you
